Scalia-Cheney hunting trip
Considering Justice Scalia was the deciding vote in 2000 election, don't you think that Mr. Cheney and Mr. Scalia should keep their visits to a professional level.
I do not think duck hunting together is proper behavior for a Vice President who is coming under investigation for his part in releasing an undercover CIA agents name, and just three weeks after the court agreed to take up the vice president's appeal in lawsuits over his handling of the administration's energy task force.
Does anyone besides me see this as a conflict of interest? This is the justice who sided for Cheney in Gore v. Bush in 2000, when he should have excused himself from voting on that because of his friendship with Mr. Cheney. It was a conflict of interest then and it is a conflict of interest six years later, as well.
