ABC News: Bush Plans to Put More Troops in Iraq
It's official, Bush plans to send more troops to Iraq. Unfortunately it is going to be a case of too little too late. When Bush was asked to send more troops at the begining of this occupation he fired the general who suggested it. Now while most Americans are calling for an end to this accupation Bush chooses to ignore all experts and makes a purely political move by sending more troops at this time.
When this fails expect them to take the position that they tried but the situation had already deteriorated to much. Then they can save face with their base and say see we tried.
