Ceasefire over : Israel attacks resume

So much for the ceasefire. Israel is back on the offensive attacking in southern Lebanon. This time accidentally killing a Lebanese soldier. Weren't the Israelis claiming that they were fighting Hezbollah to allow for the Lebanese army to defend itself. Now the army has to defend itself from Israel.

First accidentally killing U.N. observers, then sleeping women and children, now Lebanese military personnel they are supposedly trying to protect. Where did they get their targeting skills from the Dick Cheney school of shooting.

Despite ceasefire Israel still on the attack

After agreeing to a 48 hour aerial ceasefire Israel stillcontinued its attack on Lebanon, this time along the border of Syria.

Israeli artillery pounded targets in south Lebanon, killing one civilian overnight. Israeli fighters launched air strikes in eastern Lebanon near Syria overnight but Israel said the attacks occurred before the start of the 48-hour suspension.

If the attacks accidentally fall on Syria, we know Iran will defend Syria and the U.S. will get it's wish to attack Iran.

After an attack that killed mostly women and children over the weekend, Israel is halting the air attacks to allow people to flee the area. So after bombing UN observers and ignoring six hours of pleas to stop firing on those observers, now Israel is killing women and children? Rice is claiming now that there will be a ceasefire this week. Sure there will be.

Hey I have an idea, what about halting the attacks all together immediately? Oh wait, that's not what the U.S. wants.
