Here we go again. Rick Santorum makes a statement in a speech and when questioned, he loses it with a NY Times reporter. (video)
My favorite line is when Santorum asks if the reporter is interested in "reporting the truth" or trying to spin and make news." I nearly fell out of my chair when listening to those words coming out of Santorum's mouth. If that is not the proverbial "pot calling the kettle black" I do not know what is.
Watch the video here.

Outrageous!
The attacks on women's rights and the obnoxiously insensitive comments of Governor Corbett need to be addressed. This is not funny, although his laugh means he does.
I thought Republicans were against BIG government? Isn't forcing an expensive medical procedure on a woman the ULTIMATE in big government?!!!
Aren't we trying to REDUCE government $pending?!
Let me get their straight, according to Republican lawmakers:
Government shouldn't pay for birth control. (That would have prevented the unwanted pregnancy)
Government SHOULD force women to have an ultra sound if thy want to have an abortion.
Hmmm...can you spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E.

Don't Believe the Spin!
The Government Accountability Office's report was leaked to the Washington Post before the White House was able to get their lying little hands on it.
Anything we may hear on Iraq from the Administration or Faux News in the coming weeks will be a lie.

Santorum? Really?!
I am just surprised that Rick Santorum is the current front runner for the GOP. Really?! Has it really gotten that bad that the radical right is now the voice of the party? I mean this is the guy that, in 2003, infamously commented on homosexuality, incest and bestiality. And if you google his last name, you get quite an interesting definition of what it means. And last year last year Mr. Santorum made a point of defending the medieval Crusades against the “American left who hates Christendom.” So this guy is promoting violence against progressives? Is that very Presidential? Do I need to think of defending myself?
I moved to PA to make sure I could vote this guy out of his Senate seat. I'll be damned if I do not do all I can to keep him out of the White House.
Let me just say it's time to wake up and pay attention folks. Before it's too late.

REMEMBER WHAT McCAIN WAS DOING DURING KATRINA 3 YEARS AGO!
McCain was celebrating his birthday and eating cake while people were drowning in New Orleans! Don't fall for the B.S. concern for the victims of Gustav. If he weren't running for President he could care less about any of those people in the storms path.

The REAL McCain: Big Oil Fuels the Straight Talk Express
Gas prices are hitting all-time highs. Our country is in the midst of a recession thanks in part to our crippling dependence on oil, so what's John McCain's plan? Will he hold the corporate leaders of the energy industry accountable when he addresses them in Houston? Probably not, considering they are some of his biggest fund-raisers.
The Center for Responsive Politics finds that McCain has accepted over $1 million from the oil and gas industry. Many of McCain's top advisers have lobbied for big oil, which is why he now acts in their best interests, opposing environmental legislation and alternative energy plans. And that's exactly why we want everyone to know The REAL McCain.

McCain is desperate to distance himself from President Bush. But according to the Center for American Progress Action Fund, McCain has received millions in donations from the same oil, coal, nuclear, chemical, utility, and auto companies that helped the Bush administration create its energy plan-a plan that has raised gasoline to $4 a gallon.
Here's what you can do: Send this e-mail to ten of your friends, family members, and colleagues. Tell them to send it on to ten people they know. And don't forget to Digg it! Spread the word that McCain is taking major contributions from wealthy oil executives like Bob Mosbacher, just one of the special interest leaders he'll be addressing in Houston.
